| The Working Party Production Company was created by Martin Bell an experienced recording and touring musician , as well as composer, sound engineer and music editor, who has worked on on several major feature films and TV series. The filming for this first series of tuition videos took place over a four day period in which culminated in a live concert by the band at The Mill Arts Centre Banbury. The recording of this concert is available on Audio CD from the SHOP. The band is made up of five of the most respected folk instrumentalists and session musicians in the United Kingdom who came together for this one-off recording, they are: Troy Donockley - Uillean Pipes & Whistles Chris Leslie - Fiddle Chris Parkinson - Piano Accordion Simon Mayor - Mandolin Maartin Allcock - Guitar & Bouzar The Working Party Music Tuition Videos were originally created for a music education DVD. However with the massive uptake of broadband services in the UK and worldwide, it is now possible to deliver video content instantly to your PC as a series of downloadable Quicktime.m4v files compatible with iPhone, and video iPods as well as iTunes on your computer. You can then select the files you want and learn the tunes at a time you choose. This method also does away with the cost of conventional manufacturing, distrubution and publishing networks benefitting both the producer and the paying customer. |
